     Step 1: Put a measured object where you want to set the distance.
     Step 2: Connect the white line (learning line) and the brown line (power supply positive) together. During this period, if the    
                  measured object is captured, the yellow and blue lights will keep flashing.After this state lasts for four to five
                  seconds,remove the white line.The setting was successful.
 b. Setting of the nearest distance A1:
     Step 1: Put a measured object where you want to set the distance.
     Step 2: Please connect the white line (learning line) and the blue line (negative power supply), and repeat the above steps.
    Note: The red light may flash separately during the setting process, indicating that the sensor has not accurately captured the

Q: How Ultrasonic Sensor Works?
A: Ultrasonic sensors can detect objects and measure the distance from the sensor, all without making physical contact. Depending on the sensor used, detection ranges from a few centimeters to ten meters are available. An ultrasonic pulse is emitted to calculate the distance between the sensor and the target objects. The echo reflected by the target object is received again by the sensor and converted into an electric signal by the piezoelectric transducer,which is known as the echo transit time procedure. The sensor measures the time interval between the emitted ultrasonic pulse and the received echo and calculates the distance to the object using the speed of sound.
Q: How Do Ultrasonic Sensors Collect Information?
A: The ultrasonic sensor emits a pulse that is reflected by an target object. The sensor receives the resulting echo and converts it into an electrical signal via a piezoelectric transducer,which is known as the echo transit time procedure. The time interval between the emitted ultrasonic pulse and the received echo will be measured and the distance to the object is calculated by using the speed of sound. Q: What Types of Materials Do Ultrasonic Sensors Can Detect?
A: Because of its working principle,ultrasonic sensors detect nearly any material, such as metal, wood, liquid,soil, power,and plastics, regardless of their shape, color, or surface structurse. The materials may be solid, liquid, or in powdered form—their surface simply if only are able to reflect the sound waves emitted by the sensor. With the exception of highly sound-absorbent substances (e.g., wadding), objects can be detected precisely without any problems.
Q: The factors influence the range of ultrasonic sensors are?
A: Uaually,the surface properties and the angle of attack of an object have an influence on the range of an ultrasonic sensor. The highest range is achieved by a flat surface (standard reflector), which is exactly at right angles to the sensor axis. For very small objects or the ones that partially “reflect” the sound away, the range will be reduced accordingly. For objects with a smooth surface, the 90° angle of incidence must be maintained as accurately as possible. If the object has a rough surface structure, the angle can deviate correspondingly further, more or less. Dust and high humidity also attenuate the sound waves in the air. However, since the ultrasonic sensors from Trumsense are equipped with large functional reserves, this circumstance hardly affects its range.
Q: Is the Overpressure Conditions Affect Ultrasonic Sensor Behaving ?
A: According to the exact common sense known,the speed of sound decreases by less than 1 % between sea level and 3000 m altitude. Atmospheric fluctuations at a specific location are also negligibly low and the effects on the speed of sound are scarcely measurable. But if an application involves overpressure of more than 100 Kpa compared to standard pressure, the speed of sound increases while air damping decreases. It means that ultrasonic sensors have an increased detection range in the case of overpressure, compared to standard pressure conditions. From overpressure of around 300 Kpa above standard pressure, parameter settings in the sensors must be changed, so that the increased detection range and lower air damping do not cause interference or measurement errors.
Safety Notice for Installation:
In installation situations with overpressure, it is very important to note that most standard ultrasonic sensors are not designed to be installed with just their front in the pressure range when the rest of the sensor is outside the pressure range, even special models from Trumsense are available for these installation situations. However, installing standard models completely in the overpressure area is not a problem. Only the information above regarding possible parameter adjustments at higher pressures must be considered ahead of time before purchasing or installation.
Q: Do Dust, Rain, or Most Affect the Measurement of Ultrasonic Sensor ?
A: In general , only a very high level of dust, heavy rain, or heavy snowfall can decrease the acoustic energy of the sensor, the size of the sound cone, or the detection range of the sensor. Besides,the intense thunderstorms with gale-force winds can cause unstable measurements or loss of signal. However, small deposits on the surface of the transducer, such as dust and dirt, do not affect the runtime measurement. Mist does not affect the quality of the measurement, too.
Q: Is the Ultraonic Sensor Need to Clean?
A: To some extent, it is easyand no need special attention to maintain it, the ultrasonic sensors can clean themselves through the vibrations of the ultrasonic transducer within it. Application-related deposits on the sensor can be removed with a soft cloth and water, if necessary. Thin film-like deposits—such as a thin layer of oil—usually do not affect how the sensor functions and do not necessarily need to be removed.
